How to Find the 2016 EAS Handbook

It appears that a lot of broadcasters are having trouble finding the 2016 EAS Handbook. The FCC Part 11 Rules require all EAS Participants to keep a copy of the appropriate, current Handbook at the EAS Control Point but it’s not easy to find this document. Only the old, 2007 version is available through the usual broadcaster links on the Media Bureau site. To find the new, customizable version, click on:

Remember, it’s not enough to just print out the new EAS Handbook. You will have to go through the pdf and fill in the specific information for your station. Then you can print out the document as needed, as well as keeping electronic copies of your new, custom EAS Handbook.
